Burger King has announced plans to open a new branch in Lavington in a few month. This is set to increase the total store count to five.

The restaurant will be located at the new Shell Fuel Station. The fast food giant joins a growing list of food chains KFC and Java that are tapping into the growing market from the upmarket area.

The first outlet to be opened by the fast food franchise was in November 2016 at The Hub (Karen). The unveiling of this branch was under a franchise agreement with NAS Airport Services, a subsidiary of France-base catering firm Servair.

Burger King local expansion drive comes at a time when other brands are solidifying their grip.
