Findit.ke, a new online shopping platform has been launched in Kenya. The online retail platform which was started last year, will offer shoppers an opportunity to do price comparison and choose from a wide range of suppliers of the same product.
The shopping platform’s founder Viral Kirtesh noted that compared to other online shopping platforms which have been operating in Kenya for years now, the new platform will give it users an opportunity to interact directly with their suppliers. This is unlike most of the existing platforms that sell on behalf of suppliers.
“Findit.ke has gotten into thee-commerce market with a clearly new dimension of a business online shopping market is unique in its own way,” he said.
Other platforms sell products on behalf of other businesses, for us in Findit.ke, we are giving the client an opportunity to sell their products themselves to the customers.”
Findit.ke’s online directory will showcase products from more than 100 suppliers in one shop. “With access to thousands of businesses already signed up, this online shop will be able to provide updated business information users (through) their already set up artificial intelligence systems,” said Mr Kirtesh
“We are suing the artificial intelligence systems to help the businesses who have signed up to post products that client are looking out for to enable them capitalise on the searches online.”
There are currently 1,500 businesses already signed up on findit.ke including manufactures and retailers of various products, doctors, legal advisors and consultants, hotels and restaurants.
