Google and a number of its applications such on Thursday suffered a global outage that affected numerous users.

The California based tech firm noted that it was conscious that its users were experiencing glitches and was looking into the issue to find out the cause of the problem.

“Our team is continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by 8/20/20, 11:21 AM with more information about this problem. Thank you for your patience. Gmail sending issues, Meet recording issues, creating files issues in Drive, CSV user upload issues in Admin Console, Posting message issues in Google Chat,” Google wrote.

A number of its users complained that they were unable to access their Gmail files while other reported that the app couldn’t load new emails.

A section of users noted they couldn’t access the cloud when uploading new files.

Down Detector a third party web monitoring firm noted that the report started at around 04:40 GMT.
