Retail chain Tuskys has announced a partnership with Riara University to train its employees on the sector. Tuskys Chief executive Daniel Githua said in a statement under the partnership, that the training will be conducted on an online platform facilitated by Joram Kamau Leadership Programme Global. The firm is named in honour of the retailer’s founder Joram Kamau.
This is not the first time the retail chain is engaging itself on training. In 2017 400 individuals from Kisumu, Kisii and Kakamega were trained in customer service and product knowledge. This was the third time Tuskys was undertaking this initiative. The programme which is in partnership with the Kenya Commercial Bank Fundation seeks to see beneficiaries imparted with skills while earning an allowance of Sh 15,000 a month.
